The Ngozi province is in the northern part of Burundi, close to the border of Rwanda. This coffee from the Ngozi Society, a cooperative that runs 5 washing stations in Ngozi supplied by 800 small garden farmers and cooperative members. Cherry comes into the station and is immediately sorted, washed in tanks, pulped and finally fermented using a single fermentation method that requires 7 different fermentation tanks to keep lots separated until they are dried and cupped for quality.

Coffees grown in this region typically have a bright and vibrant acidity, juicy mouthfeel and complex flavor profiles.
